"Yosemite Alpenglow"

Like embers of a campfire, light lingers on the peaks of Yosemite... Andrea Lyman remembers that in the early 1980's, soon after Stephan painted Yosemite Alpenglow, he briefly reproduced it as a full-color poster and sent it to park ranger personnel to check for accuracy. At first, some rangers thought it was a photograph because of its incredible level of clarity and detail. Then they noticed the valley was free of roads and buildings-as pristine and awe-inspiriring as it must have been at its creation millennia ago.

Image size: 36"w x 20-1/4"h, published from the artist's original oil painting. 950 signed by Andrea Lyman and consecutively numbered.
