Sunshine Gallery is owned and operated by a group of local San Juan Island artists who represent the wide diversity of creative talents that the Island offers. Art displayed in the Gallery includes works in water color, oil, gouache and pastels. Other arts include: photo art, pottery, stained glass, sculptures, tile art, jewelry and fine fibre arts and hand crafted items. We also feature a wide selection of cards of artist's original art work Upcoming Events: During March, Sunshine Gallery presents its annual show featuring art work by our young people. "The Young at Art" show begins February 26th with a display of work by pre-school and elementary youngsters. March 17th the focus will shift to the work of our secondary students. The public is invited to view both shows and attend a reception on March 10th from 2-5 p.m. for the younger children. On March 24th from 2-5 p.m. a reception will honor the older students. "The Young at Art" show runs through April 7th. patrons for their support during the the year. Visit the Gallery to see new ceramics, jewelry and fiber art by our newest members, Candy Hoeschen and Jamie Ellsworth. Always a good place to find special gifts!! Happy Holidays. Gallery hours are 10:30 to 5:30. Gallery is closed on Tuesdays. The person you meet in the Gallery will be one of the artists. Each artist staffs the Gallery several times a month."
