Madrona Point is no longer accessible to the public. It is an Indian burial site and can only be observed from the water.

The Olga Strawberry Council was set up in 2004 to help to preserve the history and function of the Olga Café which was originally built as a storehouse for strawberries. It is also the starting point of the Olga Village historical tour .

The variety of weather conditions such as fog, rain, snow, high winds, and cloud cover observable from a height of over 2400 feet with a backdrop of the San Juan Islands would likely make this one of the most popular web cams in the Northwest.
